There’s something about heavy music that really clicks when it’s doing what it’s supposed to. The guitars are riffy, fuzzy and played like actual battle-axes with actual blades on them; the vocals are almost Gregorian in their chant-like drones, the bass is sludgy and deliberate, and the drums are solid, simple and hit hard as fuck. Playing a heavy, unself-conscious, meaty stew of metal, punk and stoner rock with a dash of sludge, Problem With Dragons are Silence Slayers.
"Problem With Dragons play heavy, fuzzed-out, unself-conscious music, a meaty stew of metal, punk and stoner rock with a dash of sludge. The songs feature layered, multi-tracked vocals that range from eerie and creepy to primal scream, all backed by heavy riffage that alternately shreds and plods."
