Emerging from a primordial ooze of beer and bong water, hard-partying Bastard Thrashers Goblet came to life in 2013 out of Pittsfield, MA. and have been slinging riffs across the northeast US ever since. Playing a hardcore-drenched version of thrash that combines neck breaking riffs and hard grooves with occasional dips into classic heavy metal as well as more extreme territory, the sole objective of Goblet is to inspire both ferocious headbanging and body-destroying debauchery.
Following the successful release of 2014’s debut EP Spring Thaw and a string of energetic shows across New England and eastern New York, Goblet is ready to unveil the next step in their musical conquest. 2015 brings to life On Tap, a five-song ripper of an EP that comes in at just over 18 minutes and showcases the evolution of the band’s self-proclaimed “bastard thrash” style. Reeling the band’s sound into a rawer, more coherent package, On Tap focuses more heavily on the band’s hardcore side while retaining the heavy metal center, a combination that should appeal to fans of S.O.D., Iron Reagan, and D.R.I. Full of powerhouse riffs, On Tap is a drug-and-alcohol-fueled fist to the face that should make Goblet a band to watch in the underground in the years to come.

Filthiest Sludge record I've ever been deafened by!! Riffs are disgustingly heavy, the pounding of the drums is ferocious, the bass is gnarly as shit, & the vocals are pure evil!! ALL HAIL DOPETHRONE🤘 TheMetalheadGuy
