Goldenhall is a symphonic metal band hailing from Rhode Island. The band was created in September of 2014 by former members of New England local bands: Ryan Spahr and Greg Rosche on guitars (Condolence), Nico Cannella on bass (Acerose, Steel Thunder), and Matt Young on drums (Chaos Before Creation, The Devil's Twins, Hope Before the Fall). Rounding out the lineup is frontman Jason Shealy, who brings to the table his classically trained baritone vocals to culminate into a sound rarely heard in metal.

With a symphonic-charged metal arsenal, Goldenhall delivers a powerful, epic, and majestic sound that transcends the genre of metal. We dig Sabaton, Ensiferum, Insomnium, Orden Ogan, Sonata Arctica, Wintersun, Children of Bodom, In Flames, Alice in Chains, Metallica, J.R.R. Tolkien, and anything epic.

In 2016, Goldenhall released a self-titled debut EP, which saw the band exploring its influences and seeking the stable ground on which to forge a new path. Extensive shows throughout 2016 and 2017 brought to bear the band's live energy, bolstering a community with other regional metal bands and the fans that support them. In 2018, Goldenhall will release their first full length album, as well as perform through out New England in support of that album. The band looks forward to seeing faces both new and familiar alike, and can't wait to share in the righteous communion of headbanging and singing that is the hallmark of a Goldenhall show.
